*Please be sure to visit our Facebook page or call the funeral home directly the morning of the program to inquire about cancellations in the event of extreme weather.
Do we need to register for this event in advance?
No, pre-registration is not required. Registration will occur from 12:30 – 1:00 p.m. at Burritt Hill, and 3:30 – 4:00 p.m. at Newington Memorial. If you are submitting a picture for the slideshow, we will need that in advance of the event (by Friday, November 27 to Krystyna@newingtonmemorial.com), including the name of the loved one you are remembering.
Will ornaments be provided if we do not choose to bring our own?
Yes, we’ll have a table designated for decorating the ornaments we’ve provided in years past. We’ll have stickers and markers available.
Can the photo for the slideshow be of anything we choose?
Yes! Share what warms your heart when remembering your loved one. Whether it’s a photo of a particular individual being remembered, a group photo, just a favorite picture or simply a favorite place, is all up to you. Just be sure to include the name of the deceased being remembered with your submission.
Where should we park for this event?
Parking is available at our funeral home lots, as well as in the lot directly across the street in Newington. If weather is not in our favor, keep in mind we do have a portico at both locations which you may use to drop your guests off if necessary.
Is this event handicap accessible?
Yes, from the car portico to the restrooms and our chapels, our entire space is one level at both locations.
Will the slideshow be available to view after the event?
Yes, the slideshow will be posted on our website for all to view upon the conclusion of the event.
Please feel free to call us directly at 860-666-0600 with any additional questions you may have.
